WE HAD A GREAT TURN OUT LAST WEEK.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
CARPOOL PROCEDURES

Please remember that the carpool lane is a "Kiss & Go" lane, and refrain from leaving your vehicle during pick-up and drop-off. This allows us to keep the carpool lane moving efficiently. If you'd like to spend a little extra time in drop-off, please use the parking lots on the west and east sides of the building. We recognize that many of our parents are on tight schedules and want to respect their time!
ELEMENTARY PARKING LOT

Please park ONLY in the designated parking spots in the West (Elementary) Parking Lot, and use the marked handicapped spots only if you have a valid handicapped placard or plates. The entire front lot other than designated spaces is considered a fire lane, and the sheriff's department has received complaints about cars illegally parked these areas. Jeffco deputies are patrolling the area and have informed us that they will issue citations for violations. Thanks for helping us keep our kids and staff safe!
CARPOOL SAFETY

Please "hang up before you pick-up." The carpool lane is a no cell phone zone for the safety of our students. Also, please load students on the RIGHT (sidewalk) side of the vehicle ONLY. Loading on the left side in moving traffic is not permitted.

Carpool Procedures are at this link!

INTRODUCE US TO YOUR FRIENDS!

If you have friends or family members whose students are in classes of 30 or more, or are struggling in school, please talk to them about Collegiate Academy and our average 12:1 student: teacher ratio! We still have room in many grade levels, including one space left in our tuition-free full day Kindergarten. New family referrals complete the 40 hour volunteer requirement, so talk about your Collegiate experience to friends and coworkers!

Our next Choice Enrollment Open House is scheduled for November 7 at 6:00pm. Please invite your friends and neighbors with school age children! Click on the "Refer a Friend" link if you know someone who might be interested in Collegiate!

STEPPING OUT FROM THE CROWD WITH

INTEGRITY
LAST WEEK...

Mrs. Board nominated Emma S.  Emma shows integrity in her actions & work every day.

Ms. Miesen nominated Ainsley C.  Ainsley is a leader in the classroom. She does her best work and does the right thing even when no one is watching. She is kind and patient with other students.

Mrs. Weber and Ms. Lackey nominated Nathan C.  Nathan inspires others with his integrity.

Ms. Robison nominated Daisy M.  Daisy consistently shows integrity in and out of class. Even when others are off task, Daisy is a beaming example of integrity. She stays focused on the task at hand, demonstrates respect to her teacher and peers, and lets her conscience be her guide when choosing right from wrong. She was caught returning a lost item to a peer and didn't even ask for gratitude or recognition. Daisy, you're AWESOME!

Ms. Dowling and Mrs. Ballengee nominated Roane B.  Roane shows integrity in and out of the classroom. He is a great role model and leader while still having a good time.

NEXT WEEK'S

CORE VALUE

PERSEVERANCE

Hello Collegiate Families,

A huge thank you to everyone that was able to contribute to our Fall classroom parties and Monster Mash this past Friday.  By giving your time and/or items to contribute to the festivities, you help us keep things running smoothly- and the students had a blast!

This week as we welcome November, we can enjoy some more of our fall season and look forward to our Thanksgiving break coming up the week of the 25th!
Until that time, let's press forward and encourage the students to focus on Stepping Out of the Crowd with our CAC Core Values of Perseverance, Integrity, Quality, and Ownership.
